The upcoming 20ACC carries on the tradition of excellence with diverse global involvement across various Pure and Applied Chemistry disciplines.

The 20ACC is particularly noteworthy as it focuses on the Responsible Chemical Sciences for World Sustainability theme, making it an event of even greater significance than ever before. This conference is undoubtedly especially suited for the chemistry and chemical sciences field, as they are playing an ever-growing role in tackling global environmental, health, and energy issues. The conference program will cover all the traditional chemistry disciplines and feature exceptional content that reflects the expertise of the global chemistry network. Gathering participants from around the region and the world, this exciting congress offers an excellent platform for engaging conversations, fruitful collaborations, and valuable networking opportunities.

The congress exhibition will showcase multiple companies' and organizations' newest products and advancements alongside various technical presentations. In addition to the enriching congress sessions, you will have the wonderful opportunity to explore Thailand's incredible cultural and tourist attractions. From ancient temples and majestic palaces to stunning natural landscapes, including lush mountains and picturesque beaches, savory culinary delights, and exciting shopping experiences, your time in the Kingdom of Thailand will surely create cherished memories of its hospitable people and remarkable sights.

A city that never sleeps, Bangkok, the capital of Thailand is a modern-day melting pot of contrasting cultures and faiths. Here, towering skyscrapers stand in harmony next to temples and monasteries. The luxury malls and shopping centres compete with the street bazaars and floating markets. Cuisines - both Thai and from around the world are showcased in all their glory on the streets as well as in rooftop restaurants.

The city's street markets, such as Chatuchak Weekend Market and Asiatique the Riverfront, offer tourists a delightful shopping experience. Vendors peddle an array of items, from clothing and handicrafts to exotic foods. Food is an integral part of Bangkok's culture, and tourists can savor delectable Thai dishes at street food stalls and restaurants. The city is renowned for its vibrant culinary scene.

Bangkok is serviced by Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Don Mueang Airport. Suvarnabhumi International Airport handles all of the international flights to and from Bangkok and is the primary entryway into the capital. Thailand also grants Visa-on-arrival for many nationalities at Suvarnabhumi. Read the guide here for the complete visa eligibility and application details. Bangkok has many hotels, both luxury and economical, across the city. Over the years, the city has also evolved into a more backpacker-friendly destination, with many hostels, dormitories, and homestays popping up.

How to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam

Suvarnabhumi airport terminal is approximately 30 kilometers (19 miles) east, 1 hour to the Conference Venue, depending on traffic and time of day. Public taxi stands are located on level 1 (one level down from the Arrivals level). The taxi fare is charged by the meter plus a 50 Baht airport surcharge. If you select a metered taxi the driver may ask you to provide the toll fees enroute. Alternately you should be able to negotiate a mini bus taxi which will hold about 4 people plus luggage for around 1000 Baht or a regular taxi for 2 people plus luggage which should cost no more than 500 Baht including freeway tolls and taxes, which is still pretty cheap door to door transport.

Sky Train
The Bangkok Airport Rail Link (06:00-midnight) that connects downtown Bangkok with Suvarnabhumi International Airport is a smart alternative to the airport’s express buses or taxis. The City Line makes six stops between downtown (Phayathai Station) and the airport, completing each run in 30 minutes, making this a quick and convenient transport option for getting in and out of Bangkok. The Airport Rail Link connects you to the BTS Sky train at Phayathai Station. Then, take the BTS Skytrain to Chit Lom Station and take a walk for 5-10 minutes to Conference Venue.

From Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi), the entrance to the Airport Rail Link service is on the First Floor.
